Yes, we've given up on the land deal and bought this beautiful barn instead. We're getting an acre of land, more than half of which is covenanted bush (must stay wild). I can't wait to renovate the living space, but it'll be a while before we can afford to do that- good thing it's *got* a living space, eh? Our settlement date is not for a good 8 weeks, so we won't be in there for a while, the anticipation is killing me. The only bummer is that it's on tank water, and you know what a stickler I am about good water.
